Biscuit, our Baby Girl

Biscuit came into life after a long drive to the shelter. He fell asleep in my lap on the way home from the rescue and stayed close from that day on. Known as Biscuit, B, Benji, or Knucklehead, he was gentle with children and deeply suspicious of the vacuum. Yet he confronted it every single time, never backing down.

He loved his little stuffed zebra most of all, along with one mysterious chew toy that no one could identify. That chew toy brought him endless joy. One memorable day he stole his mom's bathing suit, dashing out of the bathroom and into the pool area with it. The rest of the family laughed while mom was less amused.

Biscuit is missed by his people Amanda and Eddie, his guinea pig sister Pepper, and every flower in the garden. In his last days he was home, comfortable, and loved. He passed away while sleeping in the same lap that had carried him home years earlier on that quiet night. His gentle spirit and happy ways remain, just as he would have wanted.
